Lemon Ginger Scones

Lemon Ginger Scones

Ingredients

3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp fresh lemon zest
1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp cold butter
3 tbsp #DailyGood Fiji Ginger Immunity Shot
1 tbsp honey/ maple syrup
Brush with Egg wash/ soy milk before baking

Method

STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 175CĀ 
STEP 2
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, butter and lemon zest. Use the back of a fork to combine everything until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add in yoghurt, honey/ maple syrup and DG Fiji Ginger Immunity Shot. Stir until just incorporated.Ā 
STEP 3
Using a 1/4 measuring up, shape the dough into a small circle, and brush with milk/ egg wash. Bake for 12-15 mins, or until the tops are lightly golden. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Best to serve warm.
